The problem
Astrology applications are strikingly often inaccurate, and nobody checks. Offering Western and Vedic systems side by side means getting ayanamsa, house systems and timezone conversion right — otherwise not a single result holds up, and it never even shows.
Our approach
ZODIQ separates calculation from presentation: a dedicated FastAPI service is the only place that touches the Swiss Ephemeris, and the web app calls it and renders. Positions are verified against independent references — IAU equinoxes and solstices for 2025 within 0.02°, and a full natal chart against Skyfield/JPL DE421 with under 0.3 arcseconds of deviation on the inner bodies. Row-level security on every user-scoped table, billing through Stripe.
